Candlebark doesn’t just grow and sell plants — we have specialist horticulturalists on hand to help make your indigenous gardening or revegetation project a success.
We offer a range of services (many at no cost) to help people successfully establish their gardening and landscape projects:
Our services include:
- plant selection, establishment and maintenance advice
- help with planning your indigenous garden or revegetating an area of bushland
- indigenous plant selection to satisfy council planning permit requirements for landscape plans
- nursery tours, educational presentations and information sessions for community groups and schools
- identifying the right indigenous plants for your revegetation or landscaping projects based on bioregional Ecological Vegetation Classes and their underlying vegetation communities
- sharing indigenous horticulture skills and experiences with our volunteers
- indigenous horticulture workshops (fees apply)
- simple landscape plans (fees apply)
- horticultural student work placements
- Centrelink volunteer placements for jobseekers
