Brachyscome cardiocarpa
Common Name: Swamp Daisy
Size: 10-30cm tall * 20cm wide
Requirements: Full to partial sun. Moist to wet soils are essential to this species.
Localities: Regionally significant species. Locally very rare. Known only from a couple of sites in Maroondah.
Perennial herb with basal rosette of leaves. Excellent for use in containers, rockeries, ponds and swamps.

Requirements: Full or part sun. Well-drained, dry or moist soil.
Localities: A few remnants in the Shire of Yarra Ranges.
Fast growing, low, spreading perennial. Great for small gardens and rockeries. Butterfly nectar provider.
Brunonia australis

Localities: Reasonably common in the Shire of Yarra Ranges.
Dainty scrambling groundcover for a partially or fully-shaded moist position. Can form dense mats in ideal positions. Good soil binder. Pink pea flowers are unusual locally.

Localities: Occurs in many reserves throughout Maroondah, Manningham and the Shire of Yarra Ranges.
Creeping perennial herb. Can be used as an alternative to grass in light traffic areas or between pavers. Vigorous when provided with adequate moisture.
