Once established, no more watering!

New webpage!
The new Candlebark management team have developed a webpage that contains a wealth of information and links to resources to help our members, volunteers, customers and friends learn more about how to help support our local environments. Please check back regularly as we are continually updating this site.
Help our nursery survive and flourish!
Candlebark has had a couple of very hard years following the COVID lockdowns. In February 2024, the few remaining members, volunteers, staff and committee realised that, without drastic change and an immediate improvement in our financial situation, we would have to shut down our operation.
Fortunately, some of the founding members and long-time friends of Candlebark found out about the nursery’s plight. These dedicated people collaborated with the existing members, staff and volunteers to come up with a plan to turn things around.
As a result of this, a new and reinvigorated committee was formed, and a fundraising campaign started to help the nursery get back on its financial feet. While much has been achieved over the past couple of months, we need more help. If you support our organisation and its objectives, you may like to contribute to our funding campaign and read about how we’re travelling by visiting our GoFundMe campaign page.
